Baby Isabelle came to see me with her mum and grandparent at my cosy home studio for some newborn photos. When Isabelle arrived, she was already a few weeks old — and she’s the perfect example of why you shouldn’t worry if you think you’ve missed the ‘newborn stage’. The recommended age is just a guide, not a rule. I always do my best to squeeze in last-minute bookings, and we can still capture these precious early days beautifully.

Isabelle was an absolute delight to photograph. We were lucky to get a lovely mix of awake and sleepy portraits, which really showed off her personality. Her gorgeous expressions, tiny curled-up toes, and soft features were just heart-melting. Wrapped in whites and neutrals, she looked so peaceful and serene — a timeless, natural look that really let her shine.

It was a calm, relaxed session with lots of cuddles in between, and I’m so pleased we could give her family these special memories to treasure.
