April 2024
Harry came to my home studio with his parents and grandparents for his first birthday cake smash session.
This session was slightly different to my other sessions as Harry is visually impaired so needed a little extra support from his family. For me the session went beautifully, Harry really took to the cake smash session and enjoyed eating his cake. Even though we did have a little bit of sick halfway through, it did not put him off at all, Harry went straight back in for more cake.
As usual we started off with photos sat behind the “ONE” letters than on to the fake cake. I do this so that Harry can get used to the lights flashing and trying to make him feel more comfortable in front of the camera, like I do with all the cake smash sessions. As walking into the studio can be daunting for children, even adults as well. We then introduced the real cake for Harry to get his hands in to.
